Hiruta Mitsuo is a 32-year-old man who lives in the bustling city of Tokyo. He's always been fascinated by the idea of finding something valuable in the trash, which led him to become a "trash picker" or "gari-kari" in Japanese slang. Mitsuo spends most of his days rummaging through garbage bins and dumpsters, hoping to find treasures that others have discarded.
